Trail to Triumph is a group of charitable people joining together to run an Ultra Marathon (250km) to raise much-needed funds for Mesothelioma.
The Trail to Triumph journey, fondly known as ‘Tony’s Journey’ was created in memory of Tony Britton who lost his battle with Mesothelioma. A rare and currently incurable cancer caused by asbestos, his son Mat Britton has since founded ‘Trail to Triumph, an annual event which tackles the arduous terrain, running 250 kilometres, to commemorate the life of his dad and raise funds and awareness of Mesothelioma.
OnePoint recently developed a new website for the charity to help streamline the registration process and showcase what the event is all about. Our talented team used custom WordPress template development to create an intuitive and modern website design which is also mobile-friendly.
Due to COVID the participant registration process was changed at the last minute to an application process to work in with Government restrictions.
The new website features all the standard bells and whistles for a typical OnePoint website, including slideshow and gallery management tools, security tools and firewall protection, page builder management and more.
We also implemented an eCommerce shopping cart to allow for sale of merchandise – to come in the future.
Our team worked closely with Sean and Mat to create a new website which can be managed with ease by the Trail to Triumph team and we recommend all to get behind this amazing charity.
If you would like to donate to the Trail To Triumph journey, head to the newly launched website here.
