At approximately 3pm yesterday afternoon, the district of Carole Park was rocked with a serious car crash.
Our staff were hard at work when a loud crashing noise quickly halted production. As we rushed to the windows, passing drivers were stopping and staff from Sun Engineering were running down the road with fire extinguishers.
Our two developers, Michael and Rob were quick on the scene to discover a Holden Commodore and Truck had collided. With the car on fire, staff members from various organisations banded together to help extinguish the flames and move the driver to safety.
The scene was a complete mess, the car was scattered across the road and luckily the driver survived. There were so many people who were willing to help, it was really great. – Rob
As we called 000, our staff, the team from Sun Engineering and passing drivers were quick to apply first aid until emergency services arrived on the scene.
OnePoint would like to commend not only the nearby tradesmen from local businesses, but the general public who assisted with the rescue on Cobalt street.
I find it extremely re-assuring to be surrounded by so many people that are willing to help strangers in a crisis. – Michael
It’s great to see how people can come together and lend a helping hand in such tragic circumstances.
Both Michael and Rob spoke to Channel Seven earlier this morning and will feature in the second news story tonight at 6pm. Watch the first story from Channel Seven below.
